When spec’ing its new Type 6 Wildland Engine, Platte Valley, CO Fire Protection District chose a 9′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a Ford F-550 Super Duty Crew Cab chassis, which houses a powerful 6.7L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. This pump-and-roll brush truck comes with a Darley 1.5AGE18V Horsepower Briggs & Stratton Pump, which sprays water both from the rear-hose and front-bumper, ground-sweep nozzles. This wildland unit is also equipped with a Foam Pro 1601 Foam System, plus much more.
