When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, Austin Fire Department chose a 22′ SVI aluminum body mounted on a Spartan Metro Star chassis with a 20″ raised roof, which houses a Cummins X12 512-HP engine. This Heavy Rescue comes equipped with OnScene Solutions aluminum heavy-duty cargo slides, HiViz FireTech Scene Lights, OnScene Solutions Access Pro LED compartment lights and much more.
