When spec’ing its new Hazmat, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Spartan Gladiator chassis with a 24″ raised roof, which houses an X15 Cummins 505 HP engine. This walk-in CBRNE unit comes with an interior crew area with computer docking stations, Onan Protec 20k-watt diesel driven generator, FRC PumpBoss Pressure Governor, Waterous 300-gpm single-stage fire pump, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty cargo slides and much more to aid in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive responses.
