When spec’ing its new Tender, the Platte Canyon Fire Protection District chose a 14′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Freightliner M2 108 SD 2-door chassis, which houses a powerful 350HP Cummins L9 engine. This water supply unit comes with a Waterous CL 500 GPM single-stage fire pump, a 2,000-USG poly water tank, a Hannay booster hose reel, an ASA Voyager rear observation camera system and much more.
