When spec’ing its new apparatus, Saanich Fire Department chose a 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Spartan Gladiator chassis, which houses a Cummins X12 4500 HP engine. This Heavy Rescue comes with a Lazy Susan style extrication turntable, floor dry storage hopper, Command Light Shadow Series light tower and much more.
