When spec’ing its new Technical Rescue, the Franklin, TN Fire Department chose a 22′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a Metro Star EMFD chassis, which houses a powerful Cummins L9 450HP engine along with a Allison 3000 EVS transmission. This rescue comes with a curbside awning, Weldon V-MUX Vista IV Multiplex System Interface and Western Mule Telescopic Boom Crane, along with plenty of storage amenities thanks to six rooftop compartments, SlideMaster slideout trays, ROM Series IV roll-up doors and OnScene Solutions LED compartment lights. This unit was delivered in tandem with a Hazmat.
