When spec’ing its new hazmat vehicle, Gastonia Fire Department chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Spartan MFD with a 10″ raised roof chassis, which houses a Cummins L9 engine. This apparatus comes with a custom SVI-built rear folding ladder, five upper body compartments, OnScene Solutions Access PRO LED compartment lighting, and much more.
