When spec’ing its new Medium Rescue, the Spirit Lake, IA Community Fire Department chose a 22′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Freightliner M2 2-door chassis, which houses a Cummins L9 350HP engine. This walk-in apparatus comes with an Onan Protec 25,000-watt PTO generator, a walk-in crew area with rear-facing seats and storage, a Command Light CL Series light tower with HiViz Helios LEDS and strobe, OnScene Solutions aluminum heavy-duty cargo slides and much more.
