The Butte County Fire Department’s Heavy Rescue truck (#1311) is a specialized emergency vehicle custom-built by SVI Trucks on a Spartan FC-94 chassis. Powered by a 500 HP Cummins X12 engine and an Allison EVS 4000 transmission, this 32-foot-long aluminum-bodied vehicle is designed for high-capacity storage and on-site power generation. Its extensive feature set includes a 20,000-watt PTO generator, seven upper body compartments with heavy-duty cargo slides, and specialized equipment such as a Girard rollout awning and SCBA cylinder storage.
