Washington DC SVU Ventilation Unit #1333

When spec’ing its new SVU Ventilation Unit, Washington DC Fire Department chose an 16′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Ford F-550 XL chassis powered by a 6.7L 4.0 V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine. This ventilation unit features Super Vac’s 48″ SVU, capable of moving 200,000 cfm. The apparatus’ storage compartments include OnScene Solutions cargo slides that provide easy access to more portable heavy-duty PPVs and equipment. DC Fire’s mobile ventilation unit will be an unstoppable force.
